Cheshire Fishery - TattenHall.

(September 2012 Tattenhall, Cheshire)

All round excellent day, caught about 8-10 carp that day, mostly on Asda's own dog biscuits. It was quite warm, so carp where swimming on top, managed to pick a spot underneath trees and they loved the dog biscuits. If I remember my mate Scott caught between 20-25 on his pole with just using the dog biscuits.
See the slide show to right of the page >>> for more pics and nice carp.>>>>

Tackle box review

(Tackle box purchased from here.
Picture credit - see the above link)

Today I purchased a new tackle box, I wanted to share with the carp world, when i got back into fishing I noticed how prices had changed alot in 20 years, a lot more expensive! I want to share this purchase as I only paid £9.99 for it from ebay and I have to say I am impressed. Its not fox, nash or trakker (etc) which are great products, but not every one can go out and spend hundreds of pounds before they even get to the lake. The tackle box I purchased has many compartments and tackle areas which can be adjusted with the dividers included. Also comes with a rig box which is really good quality for the price. I really recommend this tackle box.

Bivvy review.

(Trakker Sl dome - picture from google)

This is the trakker sl dome bivvy I use to go fishing, took a little time to get up but once you master it, it's really easy 3 minuites at the most, great bivvy very warm. It has an inner layer for the winter night or you can just use the outer skin for the summer nights, overall an excellent bivvy. I would highly reccomend this bivvy to anyone, not sure trakker still do them but would reccomend if you could get hold of one.

Cat Rough Fishery (Cheshire, UK)

(Cat rough june 2012)
Got back into fishing last year after a 20 year absence, lots of things have changed since then, there's a lot more different types of bait, equipment and techniques. I have to say alot more expensive as well, the picture above is at a place in cheshire called 'cat rough'. It's a small lake but has some nice fish in it, I've been to cheaper places i might add, £20 for a 24 hour session is quite reasonable, i guess.
(cat rough june 2012)
Fish I caught during the night, (same session) this fish was about 5 pound, it was in June so the weather wasnt to bad, quite warm if I remember rightly. I think we had light rain.
